The scalp produces it's own oils and if you are moisturizing from the outside then it doesn't get the message to produce those oils on it's own. This takes about a week depending on how often you wash your hair. Try not to get your conditioner on you scalp. Only apply it to the ends for a little while. Also rub and massage your scalp when you are not in the shower. It will help get the oils flowing again.
