Is the myth of pulling a white hair and that even more will pop-up true???

Empirical and scientific data suggest this is purely a myth, or 'old wives' tale.

For some reason, though, my nostrils seem to be unfazed by scientific thought. There's more hair there than on my head.

Is the myth of pulling a white hair and that even more will pop-up true???

no, stupid idea....more white hair is going to pop up whether you pull them out or not. BUT, do this often enough and you will have no white hair...in fact, you will just have no hair at all. Not a very bright choice.

No; but it isn't good for your hair.

Is the myth of pulling a white hair and that even more will pop-up true???

No. They're turning white whether you pull them or not. That's why there seem to be more "after you pull one".

no

Don't pull out too much hair or you'll end up like me!

Is the myth of pulling a white hair and that even more will pop-up true???

no. The idea is if you see 1 white hair that means you are at a time when more are going to show up anyway. The first few white hairs you should pluck out but eventually you will need to just dye it. Very sad but true.

If you pull out a white hair (or hair in general--like facial hair), the hair follicle might be damaged so that the hair might grow back coarser --so besides having a t least one white hair (when it grows back), you might have a coarse, wirey white hair. So, that's why it's not in your best interest to pull out white hairs. This is the same reason why it's better to use electrolysis or a else a dilapatory (sp?) hair removal cream to get rid of unwanted facial hair than to pluck out hair.
