Is there a way to bleach jet black hair into white?

Is your hair 'naturally' "jet black"? If so, you can buy "Hair Bleach", then "Dye" it the colour/shade you want.

If your hair has been "Dyed" to black, you'll have to use a "Colour Remover" first.

Having said that, I HAVE 'bleached' 'black dye' out of my hair before.....it was pretty DRY!!!!!(Can you say "straw"??? ;)) It WILL turn an 'orangey/yellow' colour, YUCK!!! That's O.K........can be 'dealt with'......

"White" is a very difficult hair colour to 'achieve'! IF you 'get the black out', try a "Platinum" 'dye'. (I've had 'good white' hair when after I've dyed it 'blue', it faded to an awesome 'white/silver'...!!!) There are also 'dyes' for "little old ladies" -the "blues"(more silver/blue really) are a "rinse" that come out pretty nice! Also you can look for "Grey" 'dye'.

(The 'dyes' with a "blue" tint/colour in them help to counter the "orange" left behind from the "black"....)

If your very 'particular' or 'worried' about your hair -go to a professional! Otherwise, good luck!

"Live fast and 'dye' young"!

P.S. If you get your hair to "white"(one way or another), it's going to be 'dead'; go get some "Tea Tree Oil"(from a "drug" or "health food" store, and put a few drops in your regular shampoo(get the kind for "dry/damaged" hair -it's better than the kinds for "colour treated" -far more 'moisturizing'...), it helps keep it "soft %26amp; shiny"!

If you are going to do that go to a professional colorist. THey can strip your hair of color, but it is a harsh process so I reccomed that you do it professionally so that your hair does not fall out.
