I would sudgest dying it, I have one also and its a pigment discoloration wherre the hair grows (like a beauty mark) I color it ever few weeks hope this helps! (PS get the one that says will color over gray hair)

THe best thing to do is dye it. It won't be such a hassel bcuase its a small section. Even if you go to a salon it will probably be cheap bc of the size. Depending on your taste, you can also try styling it a certain way or growing out your hair some so that it is covered and you won't have to dye it continually.
